Share your table Sunday! After a winning haul from the Saturday farmer's market, we made carrot, cauliflower, beet, celery, onions, and fresh Kodiak garlic patties. We also used Alaska-Grown barley flour and Kodiak backyard chicken eggs as the binders.

From watching the "Alaska Grown" documentary (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fynjF0GEeI or search for it on Google), I learned it is not easy to grow grains here, due to winds, weather, animals like moose and deer, and we love to support our local Alaska farmers. They work so incredibly hard!!!
